What is Grace Bible Church? Grace is a family (1 Timothy 3:15; Matt 12:49-50; Luke 8:20-21; Mark 10:29-30).

What sort of a family will Grace be in 2012?

A Christ-Centered Family
-- The aim: to glorify God by exulting in the work of Christ (the gospel) by the power of the Holy Spirit (Phil 1:9-11; Eph 1:13-14).
-- The means: Sunday worship, corporate praise, Lord’s Supper (2nd & 4th Sundays), baptisms, expositional preaching.

A Close Family
-- The aim: to facilitate authentic, life-on-life interaction among the members of our church in the context of Christian community (John 5:34; Mat 28:19, Jam 5:16).
-- The means: personal hospitality, small groups, music nights, fall festivals, women’s retreat, corporate prayer, 3rd Sat men’s prayer, potlucks (1st & 3rd Sundays), 2012 church directory, widows’ luncheons, tithes, meeting financial needs.

A Growing Family
-- The aim: to both individually and corporately mature as we are increasingly transformed into the image of Jesus Christ (Rom 8:29; Gal 5:22-23).
-- The means: elder oversight, small groups, Children of Grace (COG), 2012 GBG Men’s Task Force, diverse Bible studies (DBC counseling, BTCP, girl’s study, etc.), individual growth, initiate search for a new church location.

An Adopting Family
-- The aim: to demonstrate the gospel in a way that invites unbelievers to enter into relationship with God through Jesus Christ, with an eye toward the Sanger community (2 Cor 5:19; 2 Tim 4:5).
-- The means: personal evangelism, Sunday a.m. greeting, welcoming visitors, COG, game nights, summer ministry, Sanger Sellebration, Christmas parade.
